Linda Deslandes-Robertson is the new desktop support specialist in the Woodruff Library. She comes to Emory from TravelTab, where she spent over a year and a half as a corporate systems manager. She also spent over three years as a systems manager at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando, FL, and nearly two years as a systems analyst at Adventist Health Systems.
A native of Dallas, TX, Linda earned her bachelor’s of science degree in information technology (networking) from the University of Phoenix and her master’s in information systems management, with a focus on network security, from the Keller Graduate School of Management at the DeVry Institute.
Linda moved from Texas to Florida for the weather and to Atlanta to take advantage of the opportunities of a major metropolitan area. She and her wife, Kendra, are raising two daughters, 10-year-old Emani and 12-year-old Kendrea. She is also an avid gamer.
“I am excited to be at Emory because of its rich research history,” said Linda. “I love working with people with a smile on my face, wearing my signature bow-ties, and getting the problem solved for my customers.”
