
Ephranette Brown (pronounced EE-fruh-net-uh) is the newest conservation technician on the Emory Libraries’ Preservation Team. She arrived at Emory after spending four years at the Georgia Archives as a conservation technician, a preservation technician, and a scanning technician. Ephranette was also a project manager for almost two years at the Atlanta University Center Woodruff Library.
Born in Cleveland, OH, Ephranette moved to Madison, AL, when she was 11. She has a bachelor’s degree in studio art from Spelman College and a master’s degree in library and information studies from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa.
Ephranette is an avid reader and has a full Netflix queue.
