New location, same camaraderie.
The Annual LITS Holiday Party moved to the Emory Conference Center Ballroom and the atmosphere didn’t disappoint. Over 250 LITS employees attended and enjoyed the party.
“We had held the event in the Goizueta Business School every year since 2013. Then in 2017, we moved to the Math and Computer Science building and staff loved the change of venue,” said Kim Comstock, business manager for LITS Business and Administration. “This year we were limited in locations due to the late exam schedule, so we switched it up again. We were happy to partner with the folks at the Conference Center.”
Rich Mendola happily thanked the division for the hard work in 2018 and said that hoped everyone enjoys the well-earned winter recess.
Party-goers experienced good food, spirits, a fun bingo game, a raffle, and terrific DJ work. The menu included bacon-wrapped scallops, crab cakes, beef wellington, lamb chops, chicken Cordon Bleu, and vegetable spring rolls.
The event planning committee this year was Kim Comstock, Michelle Crawford, Sebreana Echols, and Linda Richardson. Special thanks to everyone who volunteered to help run the event.
