Deon Lewis comes to the NOC as a network analyst/technician after spending much of the previous year working as a specialist in the data center at Georgia Tech. He also spent two years as a network engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Deon was in the Army for six years as a communication cable systems installer and maintainer (25 Lima in Army lingo). He was stationed in Hawaii, Guam, the Marshall Islands, Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Ft. Campbell, KY.
A native of Atlanta, Deon is currently studying cyber security at Strayer University.
Deon is an avid outdoorsman, including hiking and camping. His favorite activity is rock climbing, and he often goes to Stone Summit at 6 am to climb. He also loves science museums.
“I love it here. Every day I can’t wait to start my shift,” says Deon. “Everybody knows each other and provides help and training. I feel comfortable and happy.”
