CANCELED: Wed, March 25th – “Women and Healthcare: Lessons from the Italian Renaissance”

Due to Emory’s current policies and recommendations around social distancing in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the following event has been canceled. 

Emory University’s History Department is celebrating the publication of Prof. Sharon Strocchia’s recent book, Forgotten Healers: Women and the Pursuit of Health in Late Renaissance Italy, on Wednesday, March 25, 4:30 pm-6:30 pm, in the Jones Room of Woodruff Library. 

In addition to words from the author, there will be a panel discussion featuring Dr. Ruth Parker (School of Medicine) and Prof. Kylie Smith (School of Nursing).  Reception to follow.
