As more and more people are accessing library resources and subscriptions remotely, below are a few tips for making sure you can always get to the Emory licensed content. If you suddenly start receiving error messages saying “Access Denied, this NetID does not have access to this resource” please be sure to clear your browser cache and/or try a fresh browser.
In order to access full text articles from database search results, always start from the proxy links available on the library database page. Then, from the results list, look for the FindIt@Emory icon next to the citation or abstract to be taken to the Emory Libraries’ subscription page specific for that article.
- If the item is available via Emory’s electronic subscription, there will be a direct link to the online article.
- If the article is not available either electronically, use the Request via Interlibrary Loan link provided to request a digital copy.
Finally, use BrowZine to stay current with your favorite journals. Available in both a desktop version and as an app for iOS and Android devices, BrowZine lets you easily browse the contents of your favorite journals, save articles to be read later, and set up ontificaitons when new articles and issues become available. More information about BrowZine can be found here.
As always, please contact us at Ask-A-Librarian if you have and questions or difficulties accessing library resources and subscriptions.
