Expanded eBooks, multimedia, and other information supporting teaching, learning, and clinical practice for anesthesiology are now available to Emory faculty, staff, and students, through AccessAnesthesiology. AccessAnesthesiology houses core eBooks, a drug monograph, multimedia, cases, and study tools:
- The Books section contains title such as, Longnecker, Mackey, Newman, Sandberg, and Zapol’s Anesthesiology, Morgan and Mikhail’s Clinical Anesthesiology, and many others.
- The multimedia section contains procedural videos that demonstrate anesthesiology techniques such as airway management, ultrasound of the abdomen, lungs and pleura and much more. This section also includes the Goodman& Gilman’s Pharmacology Videos and other educational resources.
- The Cases section contains the Case Files Anesthesiology. The Case Files are well known by educators for clinical vignettes, clinical pearls and in depth questions related to the vignettes.
- The Study Tools section has review questions in anesthesiology.
Users can establish a MyAccess Profile to save favorite chapters, procedural videos, or other content. The MyAccess Profile also works with the library’s other Access products.
