The 2020 release of Journal Impact Factors are now available. Access to the new Impact Factors are made available through Journal Citation Reports via the Web of Science platform. Sign in with your Emory University NetID and password to view or browse impact factors. These are the most recent Impact Factors reflecting journal citation data from 2019.
Journal Impact Factors are a proprietary measurement of journal quality based on the average number citations to publications appearing in that journal over the last two publication years. i.e. the number of citations received in 2019 to 2017-2018 publications in a journal. Impact Factors are available for 12171 journals across 236 defined fields and are published annually.
Impact Factors can be viewed through the Journal Citation Reports database available through Emory Library subscriptions.
