The Emory University Herbarium is dedicated to serving as a resource for biology research and education. Anyone from the public is welcome to visit GEO! We are happy to help! Hours of Operation:

GEO is open 9 am – 12 pm and 1 pm – 5 pm Monday through Friday and closed all federal and state holidays. Visitation hours are from 9:30 am – 12 pm and 1 pm – 4:30 pm M-F. However, to ensure that there is someone available to assist you, please contact us before your visit.

Location Information

The herbarium is located in the Old Dental School Building at 1462 Clifton Rd NE, Room 102, Atlanta, GA 30322. For off-campus visitors, the closest visitor parking deck is the Michael Street deck, which is located near the intersection of Houston Mill Road and Clifton Road.
