Through the support of a generous donation, we were able to launch our three-year Herbarium Revitalization Project in June 2012. This initiative will greatly enhance the Emory Herbarium impact on botanical research, education and outreach to the Emory and broader global community. Our primary outreach and education efforts are focused on:

• Making a digital repository of the GEO collection available as a searchable online database for the Emory and global community;
• Supporting botanical education initiatives;
• Engaging students in botanical research; and
• Engaging in outreach activities (workshops, herbarium tours, public lectures, etc.) to reach the Emory and broader Atlanta community.
