Overview

Tanaq Support Services (TSS) delivers professional, scientific, and technical services and information technology (IT) solutions to federal agencies in health, agriculture, technology, and other government services. TSS is a subsidiary of the St. George Tanaq Corporation (SGT), an Alaskan Native Corporation (ANC) committed to serving Federal customers while also giving back to the Tanaq native community and shareholders. SGT is privately owned by Alaska Natives, and stock is not publicly traded.

About the Role

We are seeking a CDC IT Program Manager to support our work with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), leading programs focused on Project Management and Information Technology. The ideal candidate will help develop and manage a team of information technology consultants to achieve program delivery and financial success. 

Responsibilities

  • Establish a team of high-performing public health information technology consultants and subject matter experts consistent with customer requirements.
  • Build and mature effective customer relationships for purposes of improving the quality and continuity of our services.
  • Evaluate all task order deliverables to ensure delivery excellence and achieve consistently high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage individual contributors and task order leads, maintaining low turnover in accordance with assigned targets.
  • Provide career guidance to project managers, technical leads, direct reports to include counseling team members on career growth.
  • Contribute to proposal content (writing) and review based on areas of expertise and unique customer-oriented knowledge.
