The State of Connecticut, Department of Public Health (DPH), is currently seeking enthusiastic and driven candidates to apply for the position of Health Program Supervisor in the Office of Policy and Strategic Initiatives (OPSI)!

The OPSI is responsible for overseeing legislative, regulatory, and internal policy as well as accreditation and strategic planning on behalf of the Department of Public Health. The Health Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the development, writing, and approval of internal policies at the department. This position will also report to the State Program Manager overseeing the regulatory affairs program and work on regulations administrative work.

The OPSI reports directly to the Commissioner’s office. This position will report to the State Program Manager overseeing the regulatory affairs program. The selected candidate should be strategically minded, well organized, independent and be an effective communicator.

HIGHLIGHTS – UNIT: Office of Policy and Strategic Initiatives (OPSI) – ADDRESS: 410 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, CT – WORK HOURS: Full-Time, First Shift, 40 Hours per Week – SCHEDULE: Typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, with the opportunity for a partial telework schedule

DISCOVER THE OPPORTUNTY TO – Oversee the internal policy program; – Serve on the performance management team to rebuild the agency’s Quality Improvement Program to measure compliance with the strategic plan; and – Assist with administrative duties related to the regulatory affairs program.
