Population Health Positions at Harris Health System

Category : Alumni

Position forwarded by Trishna Narula, a Rollins Epi MPH alum from 2013: After graduating, I pursued my MD at Stanford, and now work as a Fellow in Population Health Transformation at Harris Health System (Houston, TX), the 3rd largest safety-net health system in the United States, which has come to be my absolute dream job where I feel like I’m actually making a difference.

We’re recruiting to build up a team for folks interested in population health/public health/healthcare administration and who would like to work in an extremely fast-paced, start-up-like environment (our department was founded in 2018), dedicated to the underserved community (given Harris County has the highest # of uninsured in the nation). Our team is led by my boss, the Senior VP for Pop Health, Karen Tseng, who is a fabulous mentor, Harvard JD by training, and one of the smartest people I know (read more about her here: https://www.bakerinstitute.org/experts/karen-tseng/).

Please see job descriptions and salaries below, and send me an email at trishna [dot] narula [at] harrishealth [dot] org with any questions, or your resume + cover letter to apply!

(Also please note: These are the first official open job positions, but we are also looking to fill other roles, including director/manager/analyst levels in strategy, operations, and informatics, so if you’re interested but don’t feel that your experience fits directly into one of these three boxes, still reach out!)
