Description

The Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Section of Clinical Sciences. The successful candidate will work on several projects examining the potential associations of dietary factors and diet-related metabolites with risk of osteoarthritis using advanced statistical methods. The data are from the Osteoarthritis Initiative cohort.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a PhD / ScD / DrPH in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or other quantitative fields. Individuals with the following skills are encouraged to apply: background in clinical or public health research, excellent statistical and analytic skills (e.g. advanced programming skills using SAS and R, mixed effect model, longitudinal data analysis, etc.), and strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with large cohort studies and knowledge in -omics study is preferred.

Other information

  • The appointment could be 2 years with possible renewal subject to performance and funding availability.
  • Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 /year based on NIH policy with excellent benefits.
