Description 

Dr. Paul Villeneuve (Carleton University) is seeking a full-time research associate to help assist across several epidemiology projects. These projects are in the area of an environmental health and cover topics such as: air pollution, greenness, and exposure to low dose radiation. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate interested in environmental epidemiology and radiation research. This is a two year contract with potential for renewal, or transition into a PhD training. It will provide opportunities for publications.

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

The research associate will participate in all areas of research, including preparing manuscripts and reports, statistical analyses of data, development of the study protocol, research ethics and sample size calculations.

Skills and Experience 

Required 

  • The candidate must have graduate training in epidemiology

Preferred

  • Experience in environmental epidemiology
  • Experience in preparing manuscripts and reports
  • Experience in developing research protocols
  • Experience in statistical methods
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

  • At this time, the work can be done remotely.
  • Salary: To be determined based on experience
  • Start date: Immediately
