The qualified candidate should be currently pursuing or have received a master’s degree in one of the relevant fields. Degree must have been received within five years of the appointment start date.

Preferred skills:

  • Familiarity with software: Microsoft Office 
  • One or more of the following spatial and statistical analysis software programs: SAS, R, GI R, GIS
  • Knowledge of the concepts, principle, practices, methods, and techniques of administering, implementing and monitoring public health programs in international settings
  • Thorough knowledge of written and oral communication techniques in order to make presentations, provide program consultation, respond to program inquiries, and write reports and manuscripts to further disseminate scientific knowledge
  • Understanding of detailed report writing, surveillance, and monitoring and evaluation activities
  • Ability to manage interpersonal relationships with persons of diverse backgrounds in a mature manner

Eligibility Requirements

  • Degree: Master’s Degree received within the last 60 months or currently pursuing.
