Isolation/Quarantine Support Runner

Needed Immediately! The Runners will not have direct contact with quarantined individuals, they will just assist with delivery and disposal of items in a safe, masked environment.  We need Runners for every day/evening of the week: Requires a satisfactory MVR.

The available shifts are:

  • Noon-6 p.m.
  • 5 p.m.-11 p.m.

Job Description:

  • Liaises with leadership to determine quarantine and isolation room assignments, key pick-up, and transporting student’s personal items.
  • Using Emory vehicles, provides transportation and relocation needs to students being assigned to isolation or quarantine, including but not limited to, personal appointments.
  • Provides delivery of meals and other support items to students in isolation and quarantine.
  • Coordinates any purchases of items needed or pick up (pharmacy, store, Student Health Services, etc) and delivers purchased supplies.
  • Provides wellness resources and support to address any non-medical needs or concerns and answers questions as they arise. Assist the Coordinator to develop processes and guidelines for students in isolation and quarantine.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver’s license with a good driving record; must be insurable.
