The Goizueta Business Library licenses the full suite of Business Chronicles for the GBS community. These include the Atlanta Business Chronicle, but also includes 43 other cities, including Chicago, New York, Houston, Memphis, Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, and more. The Chronicles are an invaluable resource for keeping up with local news, creating target company lists and gathering intelligence for interviews.
Published weekly, and including the very popular annual Book of Lists, the chronicles are the source for intelligence about local business, industry, economic, company, and people news and events. Each city’s coverage includes 18 industries, plus any others that have a significant local presence.

Clicking on an industry will display relevant subcategories; for example, clicking on Technology in the Atlanta Business Chronicle will link you to articles about biotech, startups, data technologies, cybersecurity, video games, information technology, software, telecommunications, and media technology.
For each industry, there are also related Company lists, and People on the Move stories, Public Record Leads, the newly added Inno section, which covers everything innovations focused, Company News, including recent promotions and hires, and more. Browsing the Commercial Real Estate section is highly recommended as a source of intelligence about company growth, relocations, expansion, and more.
The Chronicles can be keyword searched and there are a series of filters (Date Range, Companies, People, and Industries) for further refining search results.
Each Chronicle has an option for Newsletter Notifications which is the best way to keep up with news on a timely basis; the menu of alert options includes, Morning/Afternoon Editions, Breaking News, Inno Beat, People and Companies to Know, and more.
Registering
You will have to Create an Account by registering with your Emory.edu email. Once your account registration is complete, you can log in directly to https://www.bizjournals.com and sign in with your newly created email and password.
