GlobalData’s Job Analytics dashboard, currently in beta, offers a great way to track macro industry job posting trends. Data collected includes active jobs by seniority, geography, job description key words, industry themes, key hiring companies and more. This global perspective of hiring trends can be helpful when exploring industries where hiring is expanding or contracting. Additionally, the word cloud of key word descriptions can serve as an idea generator for resume revisions.
To access the Job Analytics dashboard and other content from GlobalData, you will need to log in using one of the username/password sets from GBS SharePoint or chose the IP access option and authenticate using your Emory NetID/Password; if you chose IP Access, you will need to use VPN when accessing remotely. After logging in, select Databases > Job Analytics from the top nav bar.
