Luciano Dalla Venezia (UTS Integration) recently participated in the Wolf’s Indoor Soccer end of the year soccer tournament and helped his team bring home a title. The team, called “United,” entered the event as the second-ranked team and won three games for the championship. Luc scored a goal in each game, including the final match, which the team won 2-0.
The indoor league plays four 8-week seasons each year and this was season #64 in the 16-year history of the league. Indoor soccer features a smaller field and only 6 players on the pitch at a time (as compared to outdoor soccer which has 11 players). The indoor game is also much faster-paced.
This is Luc’s first championship team in this soccer league. A striker on his team, Luc has been playing soccer since he was 6 years old. “It’s a sport I really love,” says Luc.
