Luc Dalla Venezia was raised in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Luciano Dalla Venezia is the new manager of the IT Service Management Office (ITSMO), having served as the interim manager since September 2014. The reporting of this position changed from Marc Overcash to Sriram Chari. Luc joined the team as an IT service manager in 2009. Before coming to Emory, Luc worked for two years as an IT service management consultant for Pepperweed Consulting.

Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, Luc came to the US when he was hired to work for Pepperweed. He holds a bachelor of science in computer science from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.

Luc spends a lot of his free time helping his wife Kim raise their two boys, Luca and Levi. He also is an avid soccer fan (pulling for Italy, South Africa, and the US) and runs Savage races.

“ITSMO created a good set of service management best practices before the merger,” said Luc, “and now we can focus on gaps in our coverage throughout this new division. We are currently working with UIT and will soon work with the libraries.”
