Kyle Clark, Conservation Technician, Emory Libraries

Kyle Clark is the newest conservation technician in the Preservation Office of Emory University Libraries. A recent graduate and Windgate Fellow of The University of Alabama’s MFA in the Book Arts Program, Kyle has held conservation and book studies internships at both Emory University (under Ann Frellsen) and the Carolina Rediviva at Uppsala University in Uppsala, Sweden.

Kyle is a native of Smyrna, Georgia, and has earned a bachelor of science degree in art education from the University of North Georgia and a master of fine arts degree in the book arts from The University of Alabama.

In addition to conservation and preservation, Kyle is an experienced bookbinder and is interested in both the history and future development of the physical book, artist’s books, printmaking, and photography.
