Dotty is a 1.5 year-old Scottish terrier mix. Ellen Ambrosone adopted her from the Fulton County Animal Shelter through the LifeLine Animal Project and has had her almost exactly a year, adopted on June 25, 2017.
Dotty stole Ellen’s heart the second that she saw her on Lifeline’s adoption website, so she went to the shelter when it opened the very next day. Ellen didn’t know that Dot was only 6 months old and was nervous about adopting a puppy, but Dotty was so smart and calm that the longer that she spent with her, the more Ellen knew that a match was made.
Dotty has blossomed into the most loving companion. She loves squirrels (stuffed and real), eating leaves (though her mom doesn’t let her), and goofing off with her best doggy friend, Domino. You can follow Dot on Instagram at dot.dot.goose.
Lifeline is doing amazing things to end euthanasia of healthy and treatable dogs and cats in the Atlanta area by promoting homeless pet adoption, providing affordable spay/neuter services and low-cost vaccination clinics, increasing public awareness, and advocating for lifesaving public policy.
