“I’m pleased to be back at Emory in a new and exciting role.” – Will Ulman

Will Ulman recently joined the LTDS team as a software engineer. Prior to his hire, Will spent the past year and a half as a PhD student in the Art History Department at Emory. After contributing research to a number of digital humanities projects during his graduate studies, Will became fascinated by the technological sides of those projects and decided to change careers to become a software engineer, after completing an immersive program in full-stack web development at the Flatiron School in Atlanta.

Born in Fort Worth, TX, and raised in Marietta, GA, Will received a bachelor of arts degree in art history from the University of Chicago.

Will enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, and watching movies—”quite appropriate for working at a library!” says Will. “I’m pleased to be back at Emory in a new and exciting role. It’s gratifying to be able to contribute my technical skills toward the important work being done here.”
