What is MAPme?

MAPme is a research and educational initiative where students and professors work together to understand how genes, cognitive abilities and personality relate to lifestyle behaviors and mental well-being in college students, with a specific interest in substance use. Our main objective is to educate the study population of our findings, engage students in discussion around common health issue occurrences, and empower students to achieve better health. MAPme’s prospective goal is to develop an overall platform for universities to better understand their population with the purpose of creating appropriate health interventions using university resources, study results, classes and events.
