Emory University, a leading research university, and one of only 65 universities in the Association of American Universities (AAU) is a top-ranked private institution located on a beautiful campus in Atlanta, Georgia. Emory is recognized internationally for its outstanding liberal arts colleges, graduate and professional schools, and one of the world’s leading health care systems. Emory’s passion, purpose, and resolve help sustain and improve global communities through individual actions and collective impact.
At Emory students embark on a rigorous and inclusive educational journey and discover a culture of open and civil discourse, develop the confidence to confront difficult questions, work closely with academic experts, and connect with a set of peers as diverse as the world around them. MAPme is an initiative that brings these students and researchers together to investigate what they need most during this transition period. MAPme is unique in that students are on the front lines of this investigation. MAPme uses participant responses to help shape the conversation on health and substance use on campus. MAPme student ambassadors explore research questions and periodically share their findings with the college community.
MAPme led by its PI Dr. Rohan Palmer is hosted at the BGA lab in the Psychology Department on the 3rd floor of the PAIS building at Emory University. The office coordinates MAPme activities for both Emory University and the Oxford campus.
