Given the success of the pilot cohort, we would like to partner with additional institutions in the Atlanta area to expand our project to students who are underrepresented in bio-psychological research.
What are the benefits to having MAPme on your campus?
Our outreach goals are Engage, Educate, and Empower undergraduate students on mental health issues. The BGA Laboratory trains students (MAPme Ambassadors) to become health advocates. The students work alongside project staff to engage in campus events and research activities. MAPme ambassadors develop skills in health outreach, research design, hypothesis generation and testing, statistical data analysis, research manuscript preparation, and oral presentation skills.
