The September 2009 edition of this newsletter provided guidance on reading and understanding the eNOA. recently, based upon user feedback, the eNOA has been revised.

Noticeable changes include:

1. The Total Award Amount that was once in the upper right corner has been removed. Showing the total award amount was causing confusion and incorrectly led some to believe that there was more money in the budget than was available to spend.
2. The project information section now shows direct, indirect and overall YR1 totals to provide a cumulative total by project
3. The SmartKey has moved to the second page and a full chartfield information is now provided for the departments to be able to more easily validate that the individual chartfield values were correct.
