The Office of Grants and Contracts and the Office of Sponsored Programs recognizes the need to make transactions with the Emory Research Community faster, friendlier, and focused. We heard your petitions for transparency, accessibility, and simplification of our processes; and in response, we offer to you SAM, Sponsored Award Management.  SAM is an online access kiosk that is designed to make some of our more frequent requests convenient and stress-free for the Emory Research Community.

SAM will be accessible from the OSP and OGCA websites and will provide a single location for many of OSP and OGCA transaction requests.  With a click of your mouse, requests will be made easy and will allow you to do things like…

• Access and fill out forms
• Save forms to your computer
• Print forms
• Review signed documents

When is it coming? SAM will roll out in two phases but will be delayed to ensure that you have an opportunity to complete year end tasks.  The first phase will include a small margin of the total transactions that we hope to make available and will serve as trail usage and validation.  The second phase is not scheduled but will occur following analysis and validation of the first phase.  This second phase will make a wide ranging list of transactions available.
