New Expedited Article Delivery Service

The Emory Libraries have launched a new expedited delivery service through Reprints Desk to supplement our existing interlibrary loan services. Expedited Article Delivery (also known as Article Galaxy Scholar) will be available 24/7 and can be used to request eligible articles that aren’t available through the Libraries’ databases and journal subscriptions. Currently, the service only includes journal articles from discontinued Wiley journals as of February 2024 and is only available to faculty (including post-docs), staff, and graduate students. Delivery of articles requested through Expedited Delivery will occur within minutes, even on evenings and weekends. Our Interlibrary Loan services remain available for non-urgent requests, with most journal article requests being fulfilled within a few hours or the next business day. For more detailed step-by-step instructions on using this service, we highly encourage to check out these FAQs.

How do I access the Expedited Delivery Service?

When you find an article to an eligible journal to which the Emory Libraries can’t provide immediate access, log in and you will be sent to a library web page with other access options. You can get to this page with request options via:

  • Articles+
  • The FindIt@Emory search link in PubMed
  • The FindIt@Emory link from Google Scholar or from a library database
  • The LibKey Nomad extension (you will see “access options” when immediate access is not available from a journal webpage)

Please note that any articles that are not eligible for expedited delivery can be fulfilled by interlibray loan.

We want to thank you for your input and expertise in crafting our new Wiley tailored collection to ensure that it meets long-term research, teaching, clinical and learning needs. We will continue to monitor usage and make adjustments to our package as needs and usage require across the Emory community.
