Panalgo’s mission is to improve healthcare and access to therapies through innovative analytics. Our team has built a next-generation analytics platform, Instant Health Data (IHD), to bring researchers together to generate insights into market access, improving population health, quality of care, and managing costs. You’ll work with an interdisciplinary staff from outcomes research, informatics, epidemiology, medicine, and software development backgrounds to further the company’s mission of improving healthcare through innovative data analytics.

The Data Integration Team are the subject matter experts on health care data sources and understanding how they can be leveraged for analysis and research. They are looking for a smart, innovative individual who will lead the mapping of new data sources in the Healthcare Data Integration Analyst role. In this position, you will work with a variety of healthcare data sources and standardize incoming data for use in our IHD platform. The role works collaboratively with the data engineering team. Our team works in a fast-paced, rapid-learning environment with leaders in healthcare and software, working with massive data sets and healthcare data analytics. This position reports to the Director of Data Integration at Panalgo.

Responsibilities

  • Map healthcare-related data elements to a standard terminology.
  • Verify the extraction and normalization specifications applied to client data.
  • Review client data and dictionary updates and implement appropriate revisions to mapping tables.
  • Create and maintain data mapping documentation.
  • Work closely with others to resolve data anomalies.
  • Review, understand, and analyze a variety of large, real-world data assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. health sciences, health informatics systems, computer science, mathematics).
  • Minimum 2+ years experience analyzing, aggregating, and understanding clinical or medical data.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Strong understanding of clinical process vocabulary.
  • Strong knowledge of health information systems, including EMR and claims processing.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database systems.
  • Comfort in an agile, high-growth environment.
  • Experience working in healthcare space: life science, payer, provider, or regulatory companies.

Benefits

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $71,250 to $143,750. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.

The Client Engagement Team is at the forefront of engaging IHD’s customers, advising on implementation considerations, and collaborating on product development to ensure our customers are successful in using IHD to address their analytic needs. This team is looking for a talented and highly organized Engagement Manager. In this role, you will be the knowledgeable party on your client’s needs, and advise leadership to identify how Panalgo’s solutions will support each client with achieving their business priorities. You will be the knowledgeable party when it comes to your clients and their business needs. This role reports to the Director of Client Engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-develop and implement strategies for the long-term adoption and growth of IHD and related services.
  • Support clients in realizing the value of IHD and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Manage client relationships to understand their healthcare analytic needs, including but not limited to, needs for software tools, healthcare databases, internal and external study collaboration, and advanced analytics.
  • Advise clients on features, benefits, and best practices of the Instant Health Data platform.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on new development, user support, and training materials.
  • Provide on-going support to IHD clients through providing proactive insights, training, and addressing business needs through ad hoc requests.
  • Create reports and monitor progress on contracts; work with legal, finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure contracts are executed correctly.
  • Act as a mentor to junior staff.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

 

  • Masters’ or PhD degree in relevant area (e.g., economics, health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, management), or in place of degree, additional 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in outcomes research, health economics, epidemiology, or consulting for life sciences companies
  • Minimum 3+ years of client engagement or customer service experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working as a project manager or equivalent
  • Demonstrated organizational, creative problem solving, and effective communication skills. Situational awareness a must.
  • Ability to acquire understanding of and proficiency in features, benefits, and applications of IHD.
  • Intermediate knowledge of study design and scientific methods.
  • General understanding of healthcare databases (e.g., claims, EHR, hospital, registry) and the pros/cons of various sources.
  • Attention to detail and positive upbeat attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, drive, and work ethic.

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
