Research Study Participation, Purdue Northwest Couple and Family Therapy Program

Carolina De Sevilla M. Ed., a student in the Purdue Northwest University Couple and Family Therapy Program, is currently recruiting participants for Purdue IRB-2024-1358, a voluntary study titled “Exploring the Experiences of Pregnant Graduate Students.” De Sevilla is conducting this research under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Belous, Director of the Couple and Family Therapy Program.

They are looking for participants who are:

  • 18 years of age are older
  • United States citizens residing in the U.S.
  • Currently enrolled pregnant graduate students in any field (any post bachelors graduate program such as MD, M. Ed., MS, MA, PhD, JD, DVM, DDS, DMD, etc.)
  • Experienced any part of a pregnancy while in graduate school over the past year, even if they are not currently enrolled

Any graduate students or former graduate students who may be interested in participating in a 30 minute recorded interview about their experiences of pregnancy while in graduate school can fill out the recruitment survey can be found at this link.
