Graduate Assistantships, the Carter Center

The 2025-2026 Graduate Assistantship application at the Carter Center is open! Graduate Assistants receive hands-on research experience with the Carter Center’s three integral areas: Health Programs, Peace Programs, and Operations. 

Program Details:

  • Duration: 9–12 months
  • Commitment: 10-20 hours per week
  • Compensation: $18.50 per hour
  • Available Teams:
    • Conflict Resolution Program
    • Democracy Program
    • Mental Health Program
    • Trachoma Control Program
    • Development (Fundraising): Donor Landscape Analysis
    • Human Resources: People Operations and Programs

Dates and Deadlines: 

  • Application Deadline: April 24, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (ET)
  • Recommendation Letters Deadline: May 1, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (ET)
