Weekly Newsletter, Your Local Epidemiologist

Category : News/Events

Dr. Katelyn Jetelina (PhD, MPH), an epidemiologist and data scientist, operates free weekly newsletter Your Local Epidemiologist along with a number of other public health professionals.

This newsletter aims to provide a direct line of “translated” public health science to the local, national, and international community. Over the past 4 years, YLE has covered COVID-19 topics ranging from variants to vaccines and booster rollouts, to exciting new developments like antivirals and context to some of our greatest unanswered questions.

YLE has also started to dip into other public health topics, like gun violence, reproductive health, other infectious diseases, and public health events. For more information about the mission and background of the newsletter, visit this link. To subscribe for the weekly rundown of new posts, enter your email address here. A substack of all posts from YLE is also available here.
