Epidemiologist I, Maryland Department of Health

Description 

This position will review and analyze data, as well as increase surveillance for communicable diseases, chronic diseases, and biological, chemical, nuclear, and/or radiological terrorism incidents. This position will also provide increased capability for the tracking and investigation of morbidity and mortality. Finally, this position will identify grant opportunities for the Calvert County Health Department (CCHD), in addition to assisting staff members with developing grant proposals and monitoring grant-related activities.

 

Qualifications 

Education: A Master’s degree in the field of Public Health from an accredited college or university, with a minimum of three graduate courses in Epidemiology and one graduate course in Biostatistics.
