Internship, Division of Maternal and Child Health Workforce Development

We are seeking applications from qualified candidates for our 2024 Fall (September – December) internship.

The Division of Maternal and Child Health Workforce Development (DMCHWD) Internship, based in the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau, is designed to educate, engage, and support future leaders in Maternal and Child Health (MCH).

DMCHWD accepts applications from highly motivated graduate students in good standing at schools or programs of public health and other health-related training and education programs in the United States.

If accepted as a DMCHWD intern, you will be required to:

  1. Travel to the HRSA headquarters or HRSA regional offices 1-2 times at your own expense to complete the onboarding process for the internship
  2. Complete a Student Volunteer Service Agreements form, which requires a signature from a representative at your academic institution
