LinkedIn Learning offers many online courses and certificates to enhance your day one readiness for your internship or job. These include technology skills using Excel, R, SQL, and Tableau; and business skills such as leveraging AI and data visualization.
LinkedIn Learning is available to Emory students, faculty, and staff. Use your emory.edu email to register via Emory’s LinkedIn Learning page.
What are some key features?
- Browse by learning path, such as AI. This will return a range of classes including Building Decision-Making Skills in the Age of AI and Using AI to Generate Business Analysis Deliverables.
- Search courses by topic, such as Excel, with classes such as Excel Formulas and Functions Quick Tips, Excel: PivotTables for Beginners, and Using Financial Ratios in Excel.
- Complete a professional certification. Click the Certifications section in the left nav bar for certifications from Adobe, GitHub, Microsoft and others. After completion, you can also add a LinkedIn Learning badge to your profile.
- Practice coding in Java, Python, and SQL. Click the Coding section on the left nav bar for code challenges courses powered by CoderPad and courses integrated with GitHub Codespaces.
- You don’t have to watch a full course! Search for specific commands to view slices of videos focused on your specific technical need (e.g. excel pivot). These quick slices can be more efficient than browsing free web videos since they’re professionally recorded and ad-free.
