Jon Bodnar, User Experience Librarian, Core Systems

Jon enjoys staying in shape.

Jon has dual titles as the User Experience Librarian and the Electronic Thesis and Dissertations Program Coordinator. He’s been at Emory for three years. Before coming to Emory, he spent four years at Georgia Tech’s library as a Faculty Engagement and Assessment Librarian and as a Subject Specialist and Departmental Liaison to the Schools of Modern Languages and of Literature, Communication, and Culture.

Born in Barberton, OH, Jon got a Bachelor’s degree in History of Religions at the University of Georgia, with a minor in Philosophy. He received a Master’s degree in History of Religions, with an emphasis on Chinese religions, at UGA.

Jon also received Master’s degrees in Library Science and History and Philosophy of Science from Indiana University, Bloomington.
