Alongside Tariq Baiyina, Elizabeth Beck, Louis Corrigan, and Calvin Orr—and as part of the restorative work initated by the Fulton County Remembrance Coalition and the Equal Justice Initiative—we collected soil from the sites of two lynchings that occured on September 22, 1906.

Our group honored the lives and lamented the deaths of William (Henry) Welch and Will Marion.
