Graduate Assistant, Stress and Diabetes Risk in Hispanic Adults

A paid Graduate Research Assistantship (RA) focused on ecological momentary assessments of stress, behavioral and emotional responses, and diabetes risk in the Hispanic adult population is available for an MPH or PhD level student. The student will work under the supervision of Dr. Andrea López-Cepero.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

-Prepare IRB protocols and study instruments

-Assist in recruitment and data collection

-Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses

-Manuscript preparation for peer-reviewed journals

Requirements:

-Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish)

-Prior experience with IRB materials and submission process

The Assistantship will provide opportunities to 1) develop research lines on stress, Hispanic health, and health disparities, 2) refine analytical and writing skills, and 3) expand research network. Interested candidates should send their CV to Dr. López-Cepero:
