PUBH 502 Teaching Assistant, RSPH

The RSPH Dean’s Office is seeking several Teaching Assistants for a professional development course. Responsibilities include managing the Canvas course site, grading of assignments, managing logistics around scheduling of a one-time workshop at RSPH, leading five small group discussions of about 15 first year MPH/MSPH students, and being available to address student questions. Following a February training session, the majority of the tasks will be completed after Spring break through the end of the Spring 2020 semester (approximately 20 hours total) . Specific requirements include:

  • must be a 2nd year MPH/MSPH student or PhD student
  • attendance at a 1-hour training session in February
  • able to navigate Canvas
  • enthusiastic and willing to lead a small group discussion following training
