During the week of July 22-26 the IT Service Management Office (ITSMO) is sponsoring an ITIL Release, Control and Validation certification course.
Focus areas include:
- Service asset and configuration management
- Change management
- Change evaluation
- Release and deployment management
- Service validation and testing
- Request fulfillment
- Knowledge management
The ideal candidate is someone on your team that is:
- A technical expert, instrumental in these processes areas
- Viewed as a leader and or champion
- Someone who would benefit from a “big picture” understanding of the interdependencies of these processes
- Open to learning, but often fights process when viewed as “unnecessary busy work”
