Interactive workshops introduce students to the processes of art making and expand                                         conversations about materials, manufacture, and appearance. Each workshop includes learning                         objectives, curricular connections, supply lists, and detailed instructions, along with tips for safety                     and success.

Workshop activities were developed in classes taught by Renée Stein, with contributions from artists Ana Vizurraga and Pam Beagle Daresta. Students at Emory University provided process notes, feedback, and images. The website was created by Leah Oliver with assistance from Lonnie Reid.  This project was supported by a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
