ContractConnect Now Available for MTA and DUA Submissions

The Office of Technology Transfer has recently launched contractConnect, a resource that allows faculty to skip the paper forms and submit an incoming Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) or incoming Data Use Agreement (DUA) completely online via the form found on contractConnect.

Faculty no longer have to download, fill out, scan, and send PDFs. The system requires a valid Emory NetID and will collect all of the pertinent information and signatures.

There is also the option to save the submissions as a draft in the contractConnect system to revisit later if the submission isn’t quite ready. Additionally, faculty have the option to upload any number of supporting documents.

Previously, the entire process for submitting incoming MTAs and incoming DUAs was done completely on paper. All of the questions from the PDF version of the questionnaires are found on the system and the process is automatic and seamless. Records are automatically created in the OTT system to keep track of all contracts submitted.

Any questions regarding contractConnect can be sent to ott-mta@emory.edu.
