Graduate Student Scott Libson Receives Support for Research
PhD Student Scott Libson has received support for his dissertation, currently titledĀ “The Christianization of Capital: The Business of Mission Movement Fundraising, 1865-1929.” Lisbon was awarded the 2014 Lynn E. May Study Grant by the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives; the 2014 Columbia University Libraries Research Award by Columbia University; the 2014 Research Fellowship by the Presbyterian Historical Society; the 2014 Newberry Library Short Term Fellowship for Individual Research by the Newberry Library; and the 2014 Hagley Exploratory Research Grant by the Hagley Museum and Library to support his research.
