OCR’s Education and Outreach Team Receives ATD’s 2014 Champion of Learning Award!

OCR Award

The Office for Clinical Research Education and Outreach team won the 2014 American Society for Training and Development (now Association for Talent Development) Champion of Learning Award on behalf of Emory University.  The award recognizes individuals whose advocacy, commitment, or actions in support of learning and talent development have influenced audiences or organizations. The award’s goal is to encourage education while highlighting the importance of learning and achieving organizational results.  OCR’s Education and Outreach team in collaboration with other ORA departments have educated over 1,300 clinical research staff.  Overall, their goal is to develop education and training that is role-based for new and existing workforce.  For this fiscal year, OCR’s Education and Outreach team will continue to provide higher quality services for alignment with standards that assist our organization in fulfilling its mission.  Above are the 2014 ASTD’s Champion of Learning Winners along with Governor Nathan Deal.
