Chemical Waste Contest Winner

The winner of the Chemical Waste Contest from April’s Research Safety Update newsletter is…the Ryan Lab in Claudia Nance Rollins! Congratulations to the members of Dr. Barry Ryan’s research group!

The winners will receive a prize compliments of Emory EHSO.

Remember the 3 C’s of Chemical Waste:

Closed – All chemical waste containers must remain closed except when the container is being filled.

Contents Identified – Contents must be identified. Please use labels provided by EHSO including the EHSO Hazardous Waste Label and corresponding GHS hazard class pictogram(s).

Container Integrity – Chemical waste containers must be compatible with the contents and the container must be in good condition. Please use chemical waste containers provided by EHSO, which can be requested on our website at www.ehso.emory.edu by clicking the Waste Collection icon.
