ORIC Updates: Pre-Inspection Assistance and QA/QI Help

The Office of Research Integrity and Compliance (ORIC) has two new programs to assist registrants (holder of a controlled substance or dangerous drug registration) with their compliance needs:

Pre-inspection Assistance: ORIC team members can meet with you to walk you through the process of applying to the Georgia Pharmacy Board (GPB) and the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) to use Controlled Substances and Dangerous Drugs for research. Our team can assist you with advice on the forms, and what you will need to fulfill these agencies’ requirements.

QA/QI Help: Proactively, you can contact us and schedule a visit with us where we could review your logs and drug accountability. The QA/QI review will not only help you be prepared for any inspection by the federal and state oversight offices, but also will ensure you are compliance with Emory Policy and state and federal regulations. Our team is also conducting QA/QI reviews at random to ensure our program at Emory is compliant.

If you are interested in any of these programs, please contact us at oric@emory.edu to schedule a visit or call!
