Clemente Course in the Humanities

After twelve years of teaching inside prisons, we grew to see how important it is to offer accredited courses to our recently-released students in downtown Atlanta: people who discovered their academic gifts while inside prison and are doing the hard work of acclimating to life outside again. We partner with Gideon’s Promise at 101 Marietta Street to offer accredited courses every Tuesday, 5 – 8 p.m., with stellar faculty from Atlanta universities.

We provide MARTA cards, homemade dinner during every class, tutoring, mentoring, and homework help for your children while you are in class. Whether you met us on the inside or not, come join our community. Send us information here.

We thank the generous support from Georgia Humanities!
