Our outstanding undergraduate student Catharine Anderson recently defended her honors thesis, receiving highest honors! Her thesis work on the protein folding project focused on characterizing fusion peptide variants of influenza hemagglutinin using various spectroscopic techniques.
Catharine graduates May 2022 and is attending UT San Antonio Long School of Medicine after graduation. We are sad to see her leave our lab, but excited for her bright future as a physician!
